Infrastructure / Systems Lab

Systems Lab

A privately operated technical environment for development, projects, experimentation and continuous learning.

The Systems Lab supports the work behind Paradoxon. It presents selected public interfaces without turning private systems into a hosting offer or administration portal.

Operating principle

Private by default. Public where useful.

Services, project data and technical workspaces remain private. Only deliberately selected information is published to provide context without exposing operational access.

  • Selective publication
  • Clear system boundaries
  • Operational ownership

Public abstraction

Responsibility is visible. Internal topology is not.

The model describes system responsibilities and boundaries. Internal networks, management access and specific operating details remain outside the public surface by design.

Public Systems Lab architecture The public website leads through a controlled surface into an abstract Systems Lab boundary containing source control, project management, automation and project platforms.

Systems Lab / private operating boundary

  1. Source control
  2. Project management
  3. Automation & development
  4. Research & project platforms
Paradoxon publishes a controlled surface. The supporting functions are owned and operated inside a private Systems Lab boundary.

Selected services

Reachability without publishing access.

Status describes only the technical reachability of selected private services. It is neither a login nor a claim that every application function is healthy.

  1. Gitea

Private source control and software collaboration

The internal foundation for version control, repositories and controlled development workflows.

    Reachability Not checked
  2. OpenProject

    Private project and work management

An internal workspace for planning, tracking and transparent project work.

    Reachability Not checked

Curated repositories

Selected projects. Metadata rather than repository access.

These records are curated statically and expose only public-safe context. Source code, history and working data remain private.

  1. paradoxon-web

The technical and editorial platform behind paradoxon.ch.

    • Astro
    • TypeScript
    • Static
    Private repository
  2. paradoxon-quant

A quantitative research project for reproducible analysis, data quality and controlled analytical workflows.

    • Python
    • Data
    • Automation
    Private repository

Operating boundaries

Public insight remains deliberately limited.

The Systems Lab demonstrates technical responsibility without reframing private work environments as public products.

  1. Privately operated

Core systems, repositories and project workspaces remain non-public.

  2. Selectively published

Only chosen status and project information reaches the public surface.

  3. Operationally owned

Operation, maintenance and development sit within clear ownership.

  4. Not a service offer

The Systems Lab is a technical publication, not public hosting or a login destination.

From the public model to the technical case study.

The Homelab & Infrastructure Case Study explores architectural decisions, responsibility boundaries and the role of shared platforms in the wider system.
